About Me

My dad always told me a question you should be prepared to answer instantly is, “What do you stand for?” Whether it’s a list, or a monologue, you should know it. Mine’s a list: Family, Sincerity, Doing Things at 110%, Seeing the World & Letting it Change You. That’s what you should know about me up front.

After graduating from Texas A&M in 2010, I spent ten years building B2B SaaS brands, events and teams for JBKnowledge, a construction technology startup turned international solutions provider. As VP of Marketing, I led teams to produce industry-leading conferences, author research reports, build digital and print advertising campaigns, and optimized award-winning websites, with lead generation metrics to prove it. From there, I craved a new challenge and took my experience to Capital Factory. As the VP of Programs & Events, I led teams that connected hundreds of startups with the investors, corporate partners, and customers they needed to grow their business - all through curated event experiences. At both of these companies, I learned to hire, train and manage the next generation of tech marketers, conference programmers & event producers. To this day, they are, by far, my proudest professional accomplishment.

I have learned that a Finance degree can translate to marketing (as long as you love writing!) and that I feel most like myself when leading teams to produce in-person and digital experiences. I’m realizing this should come as no surprise, because I grew up an Air Force brat with a super-human mom who hosted hundreds of people for dinners, just to meet the neighbors. She was the first to show me the power of an invite, shared food, and open community. I can’t believe she never charged a fee.

In December 2020, I officially started Coefficient Marketing, a digital and experiential marketing agency. After years helping build businesses, I’m excited to finally run my own and use the skills my mom and a plethora of other personalities have taught me about getting people together to create and share brand loyalty. We help SMBs identify and multiply the right marketing variables for big results. We specialize in combining data and creativity to build live and digital experiences that drive revenue.
